During the course of my studies I have been asked on several occasions to take photographs that have been used for websites, magazine articles and a model's portfolio. I have used the knowledge I have gained during this course to help me to achieve a satisfactory conclusion the client.
The photographs above was taken of my new MD, my company had a professional photographer come in originally to take the photographs but as no one was happy with the results I was asked if I would like to try and take them. Having issued a list of instructions to them ie no stripes, white shirts on a white back ground, I took about 50 to 60 photographs in total of various members of staff. The one above needed to be in black and white, so I adjusted the clarity in raw then opened the file in elements and did a black and white conversion, tweaking the various settings until, I was happy, this photograph has been published in a magazine called Kent Director.
I have also taken a selection of photographs for a girl I have got to know, she is a model and dress designer so wanted some poses of her in her designs. This was the first time I have really done a location shot, but I found it a lot less stressful than I thought I would.
These are just a couple of the photographs took, I used conversion to black and white and also the various other adjustments I have learnt for example the healing brush to remove some dust spots from the sky on the photograph above.
This was all good experience for me, and I hope to be used by both people again, from the comments being made it looks likely.
